Here
are a selection of some of our customers cars and a description
of what work we have done on each car:
Frua Bodied Jaguar E-type
This one off Frua bodied e-type came to us for a bare metal
restoration, as seen in the additional photos the original paint suffered
from intense crazing throughout, the body and engine framework
were sandblasted back to is original metal, mechanical work
entailed removal of engine and all components, overhaul of the
carburettors, fitment of a racing clutch and flywheel along with
some fine detailing.
This beautiful Jaguar was featured in Octobers "Jaguar World" due
to its shear rarity.

Rolls Royce Corniche
II
This vehicle came to us with damage and surface corrosion down the near side.
We repaired the damage with no problem and dealt with the corrosion by sand blasting
the affected area, but the Rolls Royce’s and Bentleys of this era were
painted in an acrylic based paint which is now unavailable. To overcome this
problem we were able to use cellulose paint without causing any problems with
the original paint, or worrying the customer with having to strip the old paint
off. |

Porsche 911 Carrera RS
This lovely example of 1972 Carrera RS use to have
a sunroof but was replaced with a complete hard roof,
unfortunately where the new roof had been welded
on corrosion had started to get in between the two
layers of steel, and this was causing paint problems
along the roof channels. We stripped the paintwork
right back; sand blasted the corrosion and managed
to fade the colour in across the roof. Also there
were corrosion and stone chips all across the bottom
of the wings. The bumpers being fibre glass were
showing signs of stress fractures and cracks. The
car looked great after the work was complete as seen
here all polished up ready for the customer.

Bentley Mk VI
The Bentley has had various bits of paintwork done over the years, this
time the customer had damaged the off side front wing. A relatively simple
repair although matching this particular colour was very difficult, but
we persisted and got there in the end. Also we had to stop the sunroof
from lifting at high speeds, these are all jobs we can handle with ease
due to our excellent training.

Aston Martin DBS
This car has a bit of a design flaw, if you leave
the petrol flaps up, remember it’s got one
each side and lift the boot lid the two panels collide.
That is what happened here, luckily there was no
damage to the fuel flap and boot lid hadn’t
split as its aluminium. We straightened out the damaged
edge, matched the colour no problem and repainted
the boot lid.

Peugeot 206
We don’t just do prestige vehicles, this is a good example. We had
to prepare, paint and fit this awesome body kit. It’s a genuine Peugeot
ecosse bodykit, but it wasn’t perfect and needed a lot of time spent
to get it right and modify it to the customer’s specifications.

Ferrari Daytona
Both front wheel arches
were heavily corroded, so they were replaced. Once
the metal work was complete a lot of care was taken
to get the correct shape of the arches just right both
sides. There was also corrosion coming through the
paintwork in various places around the car. We decided
the best way to deal with the problem was to remove
all the corrosion using a sand blaster on the affected
areas, then re-paint both sides of the car which we
did and it looked like new once we had finished with
it. |

Mitsubishi Evolution VII
This car had sustained damaged to the offside front wing, the panels on these
cars are made from an alloy/aluminium and are very expensive and very difficult
to weld. We managed to weld up the split and repair the wing without the
customer having to buy a new wing. Also there were minor grazes and scratches
around the car which we dealt with. We have seen this car on a number occasions
and with all the lampposts around I don’t doubt it will be back before
long. |

Camero
Unusual vehicle to see in this country, this had minor damage to the front
bumper and right hand front wing. We repaired and painted the damage. Another
satisfied customer. |

Aston Martin DB7
This customer is passionate about his car, and rightly so, it’s a beautiful
example with the extra works body kit fitted. This car had stress fractures
and a large dish (dent) in the nose area, also a large dent on the off side
rear wing. We investigated the stress fractures and found they didn’t
penetrate far into the plastic. We repaired the dish in the nose area and
repaired the damage to the wing. After doing a few extra bits on the car
as requested by the owner whilst we had it in it was ready for collection.
The paint on this car is a light pearl, it changes colours depending on the
angle of the light and it looked great on the frosty morning when we took
the pictures. |

Frogeye Super Sprite
This is lovely little copy of an Austin healey sprite, classic looks with
a modern running gear. The sprite had damage all down the nearside and although
the panels are fibreglass there was no actual panel damage. We also had to
deal with some trim work on this car. Where the handbrake is situated the
trim work had been caught by the handbrake and damaged it. We don’t
do our own trim work but the guy who does it for us is second to none, probably
one of the best in the country, He made a great job of replacing the damaged
trim. Also the side screen rubbers had perished and were split so we dealt
with that whilst the car was with us having the paintwork done. |

Mercedes 320 CLK
A simple job on a lovely car. The boot lid had been damaged, so we had to
fit a new lid. Supplied, painted and fitted the new lid and of course swapping
all the electrics and components over. Another very happy customer. |

VW Beetle
A great project, this is the second car built by this
owner the last one was unfortunately destroyed by fire.
This one is bigger and better then the last one, this
has been completely stripped out, the body sand blasted
and we completed all the bodywork and paintwork. It’s
fitted with a 2ltr turbo Subaru Impreza engine and will
be running in competitions at Santa Pod raceway soon.
